About our theatre
The Mumford Theatre is situated in the heart of Anglia Ruskin University’s Cambridge campus in central Cambridge. With our tiered seating arrangement, you’ll have an excellent view from all 270 of the Mumford Theatre’s seats.
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a meal, there’s a range of cafes and restaurants nearby as well as many pubs and bars.
The Mumford Theatre Box Office is open 2pm-5pm, Monday-Friday and 30 mins before each performance. Join us for an array of theatre, dance and music events including our series of free lunchtime concerts.

The Mumford Theatre’s online booking service is available 24/7. There are no booking fees applied to purchases.

Call the Mumford Theatre Box Office between 2pm-5pm, Monday-Friday. If you’d like to buy tickets on the door, the Box Office opens half an hour before the start time of each performance.

The Mumford Theatre is situated in the heart of the Anglia Ruskin University’s Cambridge campus. Our address is East Road, Cambridge CB1 1PT.
To find us please use the main entrance on East Road, or the side entrance on Bradmore Street.
We’re committed to doing all we can to reduce the environmental impact of traffic travelling to the Mumford Theatre and promote the use of public transport wherever possible.
Accessibility
We can accommodate up to five wheelchair users for each performance, and have an induction loop installed in the theatre.
